In-Year Admissions
If you wish to apply for a place at Mill Hill County High School, this must be done through the London Borough of Barnet who co-ordinate all applications in the Borough. Please follow their In-year Admissions instructions here. To assist you with your application Barnet have produced a Parent Portal Guide found here.
All applications are duly considered in accordance with our published admission criteria. If we are unable to offer you a place, Barnet will inform you of our decision and that of any other school that you applied for. You will then be placed on the school’s waiting list, which is kept in the order of our published admissions criteria and be given your statutory right to appeal for a place at the school if you so choose.
Vacancies in years 7 to 11 are filled in accordance with the Admissions Policy 2024/2025 oversubscription criteria:
1. Looked after children and all previously looked after children including those children who appear to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted. Previously looked after children are children who were looked after but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a child arrangements order or special guardianship order);
2. Siblings of children presently on roll at MHCHS and living at the same address;
3. Children of MHCHS Staff, as defined in our Admissions Policy;
4. Proximity to the School.
For a full description of our oversubscription criteria please read our Admissions Policy for 2024/2025 entry here
